The BTL Emsella™ is a non-invasive solution to incontinence and an advanced alternative to manual pelvic floor exercises, popularly known as Kegels. Each 28 minute session delivers intensive electromagnetic pulses which simulate up to 11 200 muscle contractions. You can start to feel results from just 4 to 6 sessions.

Dr Novikova will assess you and determine if it is the appropriate treatment for you, you can also bring a referral from your GP. The practices are in Sandton, Johannesburg and Gardens, Cape Town.
How many treatments do I need?
The required number of treatments will be recommended following your assessment and will depend on the severity of your symptoms. The general rule is 2 treatment sessions a week, every week over the span of 3 weeks.
You may require further treatments if the desired result has not yet been achieved at the end of the recommended treatment course. Everybody is different and Dr Novikova will advise you appropriately.
How much will it cost me?
An initial video consultation at a cost of ZAR 500 can determine your suitability for the treatment. Each Emsella treatment is ZAR 1 300 and a 6 session treatment package at ZAR 7000. However, Dr Novikova is currently offering a 50% off discount for the month of June which makes the consultation fee ZAR 250, each session ZAR 750 and the 6 session package ZAR 3500.
